I need a door handle!

I guess my little elf is just to cute to resist, Anyway, a young lady went and broke my interior door handle trying to get out of the car (that she never asked to enter). It looks like she just forced it in the wrong direction and "snap" it went. Does anyone have a spare to sell???? Or know where I can purchase one? 1969 Elf III Thanks, L leonmlr@yahoo.com

I have been looking for one for long time... they are slightly different than the regular mini ones; believe little wider... so been tough.. let me know if you find one... I actually am considering just making something that fits.

I might have a spare. I'll have to have a look in the back of the garage. I've heard that Jaguar E inside handles are a direct fit for Minis, and they're made of metal so might hold up to your lady friends. Not sure if they are compatible with the Elf ones.

between mini and elf, there is a difference in the bolt hole spacing... my elf spacing is about 3-7/8".. all the mini door pulls I see are about 4-3/4"

We talking about the door opening handle or the door pull? The handle has a square hole for the shaft and a single screw. The door pull is the suitcase handle thing at the top edge of the door panel.

talking about "interior" so assuming door pull.. that is what I am talking about... thanks.
