Brooklands Mini Day, March 25th 2012

advance warning for you of this event, one of our favourites through the year. the museum have confirmed that we will have stand space for 25 cars so hopefully we'll beat last year's record of 21 cars and this would be a good way to start to celebrate 10 years of the Elf/ Hornet Register.

Humphrey could be there, as we are in the midlands the day before and I need to visit some relatives in Reading. He is however looking a bit tired and abused these days though for some reason

Do you have any ideas of the times you need to be on site, etc

we're normally in place by about 9.30-10am - it'a case of pay on the gate (or book tickets in advance) and mention the club to the steward and he'll point you in the right direction.

would be really great to see you and brooklands is, of course, a fantastic venue!

Given my record of saying I'm going to a show and then having Lexy give out on me at the last minute with something just big enough to prevent the journey, I'm not going to say I'm planning on being there!

i have the club stand passes for brooklands and a few have been sent out - the meeting point from "our side" will be the clockwise clacketts services at 8.15am with a view to leaving on the dot of 8.30, anyone meeting us at brooklands without a pass should mention the club to the stewards and tell them the club president is on the way with the passes or any probs, ring me on 07948 398476

Hi I hope to be there aswell so look forward to seeing you all there. Will be stopping over Saturday night at a Premier Inn in Woking so not a long drive to the show on the Sunday morning. Any chnace of chucking a show pass into the post??

we'll see you there on sunday morning kevin, we should be in place at brooklands by about 9.30am and i will pop a stand pass in the post to you though you'll still have to pay on the gate as usual (about a tenner) and look forward to seeing you mate. won't need to call you back now so pls don't take offence!

Yep we are still intending to be there - Stopping near Oxford over night so should be there OK in the morning.

hope to see you all there - any probs with the stewards letting you on our stand - just say the chairman's on the way with the stand passes - we're regulars there so shouldn't be any major probs. we have stand number 31 by the concorde
