Wheel trims

Our Elf currently, is fitted with Cosmic Alloys and Yokohama racing tyres. The avatar photo was a pre sale photo,
we picked it up with the Cosmics fitted. We don't feel these suit the car and will be changing to standard 10 inch
wheels shortly. Looking on the web, Elf trims (one piece) are changing hands for over £100 per set. The
difference between these and mini trims seems to be that the Elf trims have rectangular holes, whereas the mini
ones have rounded off triangles.

Is there any difference between the way these items fit?

Has anyone used standard 10 inch wheels, with round hubcaps and the hoop shaped mini trims? If so, how did they work.

I am a little biased, but I think the Elf looks good with Cosmics


I would think the wheels would be all the same and just the trims would differ, but sorry to say I do not have direct experience with them. Do you have a picture of your car with the Cosmics?

Here it is, different design of Cosmics. Another consideration is the cost of the tyres, like for like replacement Yokohamas are about £100 each, standard 10 inch tyres are about £30 each.

I do agree, those wheels do not look proper for the Elf/Hornet. They would suit a Mini or Clubman.

I've got a partial set of full wheel trims that look nice on the wall of my garage but that I have no other use for.

We are in Cornwall in South West UK
