I had an A40 Farina before I got the Elf. Turned it from barn find into show car.

now that is a nice looking car - really don't see many about today, though there is a tatty old A40 that has been poodling aroung Bromley for the last twenty odd years and never seems to look any different! anything with tailfins has to be cool! Very Happy

Its hugely satisfying turning a total loss car into a show winner! lovely looking A40! ( i have foolishly bought another project, (oh pale dear, but could not turn it down!) and just love the freedom and buzz(?) of seeing it come together. it really became aparrent on a car im doing at the moment, (it was in the summer mini 50 special edition of mini magazine), a total wreck, but on sunday just gone, i clamped the front panel on, both wings, and A panels. it then looked as it should, a car, all from essentially a scrap wreck! Very Happy
