Rear bump stop replacement on the cheap!
Something is missing here.
Off the shelf bumper.
The original locating dimple.
Make a hole.
Add inner threads.
A bit long, but we'll fix that.
Cut a bit off.
Like so.
Remove the threads and a bit.
After a bit of filing work.
Bob's yer Uncle! The bolt has a bit of a shoulder holding it away from the base, so I'll pop a flat washer in between when I get a moment.

The rear bumpstop is only required on a hydro suspension, though a version is available for uprated competition suspension. Nice tip though Red, though I'm not sure where I'd buy a bumpstop of-the-shelf for any less than the Mini version. Maybe different across the pond though!

8 bucks for the bodge versus 30 bucks for a new Hydro unit at MiniMania.

The bumpstop is available on its own - £6.50 from Somerfords. But like I say, not so easy in the US.
