Re: hornet and elf afterlife dilemma
I could give either/or both a good home and a guaranteed resto, tbh I'm more interested in the Elf, and could arrange to pick up whenever is good by you. If you fancy splitting the lot then I could work round anyone else.
Many thanks.
Adi.

I'm more interested in the hornet adi, so looks like both have got homes to go to!
Paleblue, when is it convenient to pick up the hornet?
Regards,
nick.

Re: hornet and elf afterlife dilemma
Hi
If you two wish to collect on the same day/weekends I obviously see no problem in you two splitting the cost of the cars. Currently £300 for both together so maybe £150 each? (or parts. see earlier posts). Unfortunately I can't afford to do at that price for two separate weekend collecton's as I would need to cover my costs of getting down there from London. Also, it will be about a months time before I can do anything with them.
Let me know your thoughts, cheers, Ian

Re: hornet and elf afterlife dilemma
Hi pale blue.
The only problem I have is from the 18th of march, I have 6 solid weekends of training, so I can't collect the hornet at a weekend, until the training is completed. Anytime after then, I'm ok!. I can do some weekdays.
If you pm me your details, I can contact you!.
I'm very happy to split the difference with the adder!.
Regards,
nick.

Gladly, alas I had a site with resto pics, of my 59 and start of my 57 crayford, but the site has been closed, so will put them on here!

Can you both do this coming weekend? 11-12 June. Would be prefect if you could.

Re: hornet and elf afterlife dilemma
Just a quick email to update any one interested. The Elf and Hornet both have new homes. I am particularly glad that the Hornet (Sally) has gone to Nick as he appears to be a true enthusiast and I believe will give her the full and detailed restoration that she deserves. Lets hope that one day I'll be able to catch up with these cars and see the results. Cheers
